Technical/Application Specialists (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Provide software technical support for our company's products
- Develop and maintain software modules, applications and solutions
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Computing / Information Technology
- Working knowledge of Java, JSP and J2EE technologies and Progress programming. Those without Progress programming experience but with extensive experience on other 4GL programming may also be considered
- Has a passion for programming, preferably in JAVA and J2EE
- Preferably 1 to 2 years working experience in the General Insurance Industry
- Preferably with working knowledge of SQL and related technologies
- Fresh local diploma holders with a keen interest in programming or software development are welcomed to apply
Personal Attributes:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Good communications skills- as we you know we work in teams
- Self motivated, able to work independently
- Team player
- Willing to travel if the need arises
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Fluent in Mandarin as need to liase with Chinese speaking clients (speaking)
